Attending the 2018 Employees Conference was an excellent opportunity for an employee like me to learn more about the business world. What may be right for this field may not be applicable for the other, and so attending this conference was a good chance to look into that opportunity.

Owning a business may be an exciting path to take, but not everyone is entrepreneurial or have that skill to be a business person. Luck, perseverance, and exceptional business skills should be on your side to succeed in this money-making activity. Having a business may take a lot of guts as well as capital – I mean, you do need the bravado to embark on a business concept.

You also need the right amount of cash so that your business will start well. Just a reminder, before embarking on business, learn about your customers and then be equipped on how to market your brand. As an employee now for a service concern business, I too have to know about these areas, for it will help me to be productive and for the continuity of the business.


First, you can start taking business lessons or business courses to help you and as training on how a particular business works. When I was hired, the manager in our department subjected me to a 3-day refresher on the company’s business. Yes, even employees are trained on how the business works – not just entrepreneurs. On the other hand, you may want to experience being an employee first before venturing to a more complicated task of owning a business. It was suggested to us during the conference.

As an ordinary employee, one doesn’t know the ins and outs of a business unless you are part of the HR department or if you are in a higher position. As an employee, you are trained to get focused on the position or job being assigned to you. But you should also know your rights as an employee and as part of the workforce. The conference was keen on that.

I have learned that you just don’t sit there and perform the job they ask of you. Of course, you need to do what you are supposed to do but always be aware of your rights. Being compensated is undoubtedly a great deal, but it’s also your prerogative to know if you are receiving the right compensation in exchange for the work you are doing. Make sure you are getting the right health insurance or any other compensation that comes with your work. I have also learned that it is essential to know the labor laws or the company’s by-laws before you venture or apply for any job that suits you.

Most psychologists and psychotherapists agree to research that affects behavior, which is the social and environmental perspective. It represents the interaction between people’s traits in social and environmental interaction. It means that part of people’s social equation is learning of things through the response they give and get from others. That is the reason why people seem to act, think, and respond the same way and others differently.

Different people choose to stay in a different environment. There are categorized types of individuals that hang out together because they share the same perspective in almost everything. Honestly, people’s behavior depends on situations and other individuals they try to surround themselves. That is the reason why everything they say and does always goes back to the vital sense of personal control. It is the extent where individuals perceive what things around them are merely results of their decisions. These things include their life and relationship struggle, as well as social and environmental connection. They believe in having control over their fate and luck. However, not all the times it is like that. Some individuals go with the flow because that is how they picture control. As you can see, all theories of behavior go back to “perceptions.” But the whole point of understanding behavior relates to people’s response where it reveals some things about their motivation and concerns towards what is in front of them.

People’s different personalities and traits get determined by others through their reaction and response from social and environmental interaction. There is an expectation that all things that matter for someone will not entirely matter to another. There is a tendency that what goes beyond people’s expectations towards learning themselves does not apply to those who already knew who they are.



Different unconscious processes drive people to do the things they believe is right. Honestly, there is nothing wrong with that. All individuals see things differently, and that is why their behaviors also differ. Honestly, there is nothing complicated in understanding human nature. Everything is just a matter of perspective.

Though there are times, it might true. Some people still manage to put things out of proportion. Other individuals look deeper and find that perhaps the reason why you often complain does not entirely conclude negative impacts. That is because there is a significant chance that maybe you are experiencing an emotional and mental battle. And that the negativity you see comes from your anxiousness and depression. So if you can see, you and other people’s perception creates a different understanding of behavior.

What Makes You Different From The Rest?


Yes, you are a unique individual and everything you do appear to be part of your personality. However, even though a lot of people say you are different, there are always some individuals who will think, act, and respond like you. Meaning, there is still an exceptional chance your behavior is not yours alone. The reason for that is the effects of your social and environmental interaction. You become who you are because of the people around. You get to understand yourself from their judgments and criticism towards the things you say and do. Yes, sometimes they can be wrong, and sometimes they can be right about you. Overall, it is you, and people’s opinions toward you will define the type of person you are.

But don’t get it wrong. There is an instance that even if you portray a good example, it is not always taken as it is. Others will look at your behavior differently. Meaning, whatever you do, when you act, think, and respond negatively, it becomes part of you. But, it does not mean you must stay that way. You can still find ways to improve and become a better version of yourself.
